Overview
The Beta-drive module is NOT a conventional tuning product and its aim is to do as described on the previous page and not to significantly boost either torque or bhp.
INSURANCE FRIENDLY
In this respect, your insurance company may agree to you fitting it if they will not cover a conventional tuning product. However their attitude varies and we have no influence so cannot give you a guarantee that they will agree to you fitting it.
If you require a significant performance boost as well, please enquire about our Turbotune module. This is available for all common rail diesels from 2000.
Notes:
*Fitting will take longer on some vehicle due to restricted access, eg 1.4 & 1.6 hdi/tdci. An extension cable is available to make subsequent removal and refitting a 30” job.
** £19.99 if reprogramming is needed, £39.99 if recabling & reprogramming is required.

Lifetime warranty means whilst the module is fitted to the original vehicle. Contact us if you wish to transfer the module and warranty to another vehicle.
WHY DO MANUFACTURERS SUPPLY VEHICLES LIKE THIS..?
Surely you cannot improve upon their efforts?
If that was true the multi million Euro diesel tuning industry would not exist because there would be little demand.
But due to the conflicting emission regulation, vehicle excise bands, company car tax bands and mindful of their competitors claims, manufacturers can no longer deliver the performance you’d expect.
The result is compromised smooth running and driveability and worst of all, disappointed and unhappy customers.
Many car dealers and, although they’d never admit it, some manufacturers, turn a blind eye to owners taking matters into their own hands and plugging in a easy to fit or remove module. If these were likely to cause reliability problems, you can be sure the manufacturers would find a way to stop you. (some are making it more difficult, but we believe this is in response to many irresponsible tuning companies overdoing the power increase.)
